1123rd post: Ketchup Catch-up

Too long since I've been here. So much has happened I don't even know when to start. These few months have been crazy (in a good way I'd say). From the MBS show to RCB, then on to FLAME Awards 2012 and then Thunderband Slam where Maybe Tomorrow emerged as finalists..............Wow.

I'd say I achieved quite a lot in these months. Personal achievements la okay. Come to think of it I'd never thought I'd take this step and so many things related to music. :-) Met so many people along this musical journey I never want it to end. Talented people as friends, legends as mentors. WOW.

Too many pictures to slot into this post but I have a paper tomorrow so I am lazy. There I said it. HAHAHAHAHA. Been too long since I've updated so maybe I should slot some pictures in here anyway.

First time we performed in TRCC's theatre and we had our own holding room to ourselves!!!!!
HAHAHAHA IMAGINE THE EXCITEMENT WE WERE LITERALLY JUMPING AND HUGGING EACH OTHER. Not to mention camwhoring. We had a "photoshoot" inside HAHA. If you're wondering who's in Maybe Tomorrow......its Khadijah, Marissa, Shafiq, Dan, Zaim, Hafidz, Chung and I. :-)

All that aside, I've been neglecting my friends these months and I'm absolutely sorry about it....the practices for the shows have definitely taken up a lot of my time. Exam period now, once I'm done I'll call them all up and meet them. Sorry friends. :-(

Feel like I've grown so much these past months. Happy about it but sad that the matters of the heart never fail to fail me. I feel like I've given up on feeling for anyone altogether. Thankful for the bunch of awesome friends I have though, makes life easier. Happy to have my lover with me. And all the other bunnies.

This post is so rojak because its a combination of everything that's happening and how I feel. Rojak. Maybe Tomorrow is rojak too hehehe. Can't explain how happy I am to be working with a bunch of talented musicians. Don't even think I deserve such luck but well no complaints hehehe :-)

Studies wise........I think I'm having a little trouble because I have been getting grades that I dislike. Not too bad but not very good either. Need to score la........ BUCK UP JO.

Happy note: Tiffy's coming back 14th December and I cannot wait to see her!!!!!!!!!!!

Shall end with what I want to do with my life in the next few months:
- Be a better person, temper-wise must maintain
- Do well in school. Work hard play hard.
- Achieve more, musically
- Learn the guitar?????? HAHAHAHA
- MEET UP WITH ALL MY BABIES.
- Grow money on trees so I don't have to be broke_girl@forever.com.

Maybe I should start blogging more. Again. I miss you la blog.

I miss many people. I miss my friends. Every single one. Especially those I haven't seen in a long while. You guys are still in my heart, no matter whether I'm in yours or not. xx

On holiday

Eons since I've came here. Hahaha okay so.........approx. 4 dys to the official holidays. Although my brain is already on holiday since more than half the UTs are over. 60% clear hehe :-)

 Surprise attack of my face to keep this space alive because my blog probably misses me dearly. Wah pimple damn big. Hahahaha wtf anyway.

Tomorrow's Faith, Farah, Zaim, Chung and Hafidz's show at Wavehouse and then its Mars and Amanda with Deon and Dan on Saturday at SOTA. Hopefully I'll be able to go down on Friday. Will defo be there on Sat because its a weekend.

Life has been kind to me I suppose? Not really a smooth road without any bumps but I guess it kind gets better. Glad I'm stronger now. Really have to thank all that life has given/thrown me. Makes me stronger as an individual. I really, genuinely hope that life will only get better for me, and of course, for the people I love and hold close to my heart.

Time for dinner, then a short nap. Wake up to catch the 9pm Channel 8 show because of Felicia Chin and then read through the 6P for tomorrow's Programming paper. Fingers crossed I'll do well for all papers!!! Will come back with pictures soon. xx

'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance. 

What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either non-existent or very small...'

The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.'

He looked at his disciples and said.

Time has been passing really quickly these days. Spent almost everyday these past few weeks practicing and decking with the Replugios. Also, the UTs are almost over. Left with 2 more and we're done :-) There's still UT2 and 3 though.......................sighz.

Anyway life's been treating me kind. Thankful for everyone and everything I have because its a blessing. I shall not complain about what I don't have but instead, I'll work towards achieving it. :-)

Internals on Wednesday and I'm having a sore throat. Its a day away. I hope I do well. My lyrics. Must remember them. Confident I can :-) Need to work on my skills though hahaha cannot keep thinking I'm not good enough because I'll never improve that way.

Tomorrow is Music Theory, then town/clarke quay with the marketing team for Ignite! Wed is Internals, Friday is Programming UT. Then I'm relatively free until...........Wednesday when I have to start reading through the Art of Story notes. Friday is AOS and we're done! With UT1. Oh well. Have to buck up and do well. :-) I can do it. Shall hop off to watch my drama and then sleep! Good thing school starts at 1230 tomorrow :-) Toodles! X

Hello everybunny I am back from Replug camp and I HAD A BLAST. THE SENIORS WERE SO SO SO SO SWEET I DON'T EVEN. Hehehehe okay let's start from last week when the BJs went out. ;-) Suggestive name but......let's just leave it at that. *smirks* *lifts eyebrows*

Replug Camp 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went late because of personal reasons that shall not be mentioned but I'm so glad everything's fine now :-) Missed the morning part of the camp but oh well I still had loads of fun nonetheless! Family picture to share the love:

Got grouped into our bands and I was with Qistina and Ema :-) Powerpuff girls hehehehe ok lame. Had fun working with them :-) Great job girls!!!! Not forgetting Shawal, our mentor. Although you'll never see this......Thank you so much, we love you! X

Lastly..........to all the seniors (includes alumni) and my batchies (yup I made this word up). Thank you all so much for the wonderful 3 days we've spent together. I have learnt so much from all of you and of course, we'll never stop learning from each other.

For the seniors, thank you for making this camp a great one by planning it and making sure everything went well. Thanks for the wet games that made us all stink like rotten food and the mealworms in the balloons that had us all cringe HAHAHA.

Thank you for the wonderful surprise that had us all melt! For blindfolding us, making us walk all the way upstairs while having the time of your lives scaring us with random pokes and tickles, then telling us we'd be surrounded by insects............That was scary but THANK YOU. Because once our blindfolds were taken off we saw the candles. :') AHHHH SO SWEET! Then we all had pizza and our dinner. Went off to bathe and the 2nd night started. :-)

Batchies, thank you all for just....being there. I had fun bonding with all of you and all that made us so close :-) Guys or girls, it didn't matter. I'm so glad I met all of you!!!! We'll continue to improve together and next year we'll make the camp and awesome one together! ;-)

All the 'slumber parties' we've had, story-telling sessions, lame games, inside jokes, boy bands, jamming sessions with our bands, and in the night we all jam together, instead-of-clocks-its-the-highhats-and-cajon alarms that woke us up every morning (because clocks are too mainstream), experience-sharing, bear-game-playing, the meals we had together, bathing in ice-cold water, staying up till the early hours and waking up late, everything. I never once regretted any moment of the camp. :-) I love you all and I hope we'll all be meet again very soon. Shouldn't be hard as there'll be a Sentosa outing soon. Hehe. X

Tiffy the ICS Graduate

This was yesterday in school with a few of my Lepz babies.............................. :-) Finally put my fringe up again hehehe. Should have done that long ago but I just didn't feel like it. LOL. Completed my rj and left for ICS @ Clementi. Stupid Meh told me 5 stops but it was 3. So I walked 2 stops back wtf HAHA.

Favourite picture with my 2 best friends in the whole world. Happy. :-) Shaun was already there with the Graduate's family :-) Laidlate was there too hehe. After the ceremony we all went to Holland V for drinks. Sat in Ken's convertible and yes we all looked crazy after we got out. HAHAHA. The girls all went to club after so Tim and the LL Shaun sent Meh and I home. Thanks guys :-)

Loved yesterday because I was so proud and happy for Tiffy!!!!!!!! And also we had a good night after, and MY PHASE IS FINALLY OVER I TOOK OUT MY LABRET!!!!!!!! Tempted to put it back but then again I don't want to. Always feel so insecure whenever I meet my friends' parents. Feel like they will judge me. OK LA they will. Oh well its over its out I'm never putting it back. Soon I'll remove the tongue stud too. This one a bit sayang la the swell and the pain then was so hard to ignore, if I took it out now it'd be a waste of effort right HAHA.

Bullcrapping a lot. Time to pick clothes before heading out to meet Huishan to watch her get inked!!!! And then head to Momentum. Feel like meeting Jean, Di and Afiq @ the airport but oh well I guess I don't have time. There's only 1 me. Plus they're studying so if I go I have to have my lappy. And then I'll have to bring it to RP coz I'm going for Momentum. So heavy. I lazy.

Oh btw I got into EMP too, with all my friends so I am happy :-) Tomorrow is practice warm-ups + NEA Eco Song day. Monday is recording day. Tuesday is Vocal training + Replug camp all the way till Thursday :-) Friday is...............I forgot. Oh well thank god for the holidays. Need to study for the UTs coming up!!! AND GET FORMAL WEAR.

Chairity @ Red Dot Museum

So.....................after school I popped over to Red Dot Museum to meet the 2 idiots hehe :-) Saw Didier like finally after what seemed like a million years!!! Congratulations on your award babe ;-) Loved your work inspired by Xav's grandma :-) Although you'll never ever see this hehe. Had dinner there because there was a buffet, and had salmon porridge mom cooked for dins. How fattening.

Caught Benjamin and his really +poshable friends and I shamelessly asked them if I could take pictures of them so I can +posh them. Using their camera. HAHAHA felt sooooooooo bad coz after the pictures I actually realized the were rushing. Oh well. GOOD CATCH FOR POSHISM HEHEHEHE I AM SATISFIED. Now I just have to wait for them to send me the pictures and their details and I can upload the pictures hehehe YAY!

In Creative Concept class now so its time to get back on track. Seeya bunnies! X

Maybe its just me

 Replug Welcome Tea was yesterday, Monday 21st May :-) Was a little late coz I went for EMP! Hope we didn't screw up the presentation ahhhhhhhhh rest of the groups did so well le sigh life isn't easy. Anyhoos I had fun at both! So........yup shall see how it goes!

Music and keyboard theory today. Hopefully I didn't screw anything up. Snapped many pictures with Syahz coz we were both slacking hahahahaha wtf.

Went for Replug vocal training today after school and fake UT and lunch with Sof and Di and it sorta reminded me of choir then. Felt miserable because my voice is really nasal and I sound like that even when I talk. I have a really thin voice if anyone actually understands.

I feel really down now just because I'm listening to the NEA song demo by Seth and its making me really depressed including the fact that I got a C for programming just because I did my work at my own pace. Idk wtf is wrong with the faci. Isn't it okay as long as I finish my work on time......? Seriously. I have 3 Cs now and it is bad. REAL BAD. NOT LETTING THIS SHIT CONTINUE I HAVE TO BUCK UP.

I want to do well in school. I need to do well. Its either As or Bs. Please J. Please do well. And Replug.........its so stressful. The other vocalists are so good I'm so stressed out wtf. NASAL VOICE THIN VOICE LOUSY VOICE WTF. EMP..................I'm not even officially in it yet wtf. And my music theory homework is half done and its due in.....10 minutes if I'm not wrong.

Today's entry isn't exactly a really happy one. I.am.depressed. I need a hug. From...............maybe you. Just that it kind of is impossible. Wait. It is. Toodles babies. I hope I feel better soon. X

Chris is back from Dalian

Met my Est and Ed yesterday to fetch my baby Chris. Was sooooooo excited coz we were all seeing her after 5 weeks. HAPPY :-) And it was so cute that we all coincidentally wore striped tops hehehehe telepathy ;-) Even Ed had stripes on his pocket!

Meeting the babies later for dinner @ Clementi after EMP and Replug :-) EXCITES HEHE yes its exciteS not exciteD because I want to act cute. Hopefully I don't end late. Will force them all to take pictures so I can get them and blog hehehehe. CAN'T TWEET ON THE GO I'M SO MISERABLE. BLAME MY BB FOR DYING ON ME I KENOT TWEET SO SAD. How random. Ok toodles. X

Thursday:
Met Deb and the boys for recording @ Seth's home studio. Coming Thursday is the official recording. Hope I do well and not screw up or Marcus would prolly kill me. Deb left after and we went to have macs :-) Esplanade rooftop where we played Dare and the 2 idiots had to scream 'I am very cute' and the other had to ask a girl for her number. HAHAHAHA

Was supposed to meet Chu and Errol but that idiot Chu decided to touch a cat and rub her eye after. So we didn't meet LOL #fail. That idiot's in Bkk now.

Met Est yesterday at Bugis for some minor shopping and headed to Town to thread. WAH THIS TIME IT HURT FOR ME but still I didn't tear. Thick skin. Realise we don't ever take pictures lor even if we do its like 1 picture. CHEY. TAKING A LOT TOMORROW. Headed home first to do some work, then to Dini's!

Had fun at Dini's 17th yesterday. Only one picture because there were drunk and high people and horror movies.

Look really shitty but HAHA WHATEVER. Headed over really late as I had to edit some pictures and post them up before the dateline............which is tomorrow. Loved the night because D was such a dear :-) Thank you for having us!!! Loved everyone that was there yesterday :-D My dad was such a dear to send to over to CCK at 11pm although he was so tired(and he was scolding me saying I was selfish and all but nonetheless........Thank you Daddy!

Happened to meet Rudi there who's also in Replug! Singapore is so small I don't even. Anyway........off to nap then I shall wake up and start editing more pictures, upload them, do the EMP slides, then the damned Programming homework. Seriously. Programming is such a chore.

Speaking about EMP and Replug.........think imma join both and see how it goes :-) Its good to be busy despite it being really draining. :-) Just got home from Dini's/(then to) JoeyC's and I matched up and outfit for her to wear on Monday, accessories and hair even. SO PRETTY HEHEHE SHE'D BETTER TURN UP WITH EVERYTHING ON.

Baby Chris is finally coming back tomorrow I am soooooo excited I miss you so much bbg hehehehe :-) Couldn't talk to her for the past dk how long coz my bb died and I have no Whatsapp. Wtf. CAN'T WAIT. :-)

Shall meet Est early tomorrow maybe. Maybe at her place? To do up the EMP poster. Just because my lappy doesn't have Ps and Ai yet. NEED. TO. GET. IT. FROM. RP. SOON. Airport after that to meet Ed and Eileen to fetch Chris :-)

Wow so many things to do, so little time. The 5-day RP 'holiday' coz of Graduation doesn't seem like its enough for me to accomplish all that. Not complaining though, loving the way life is now and I wouldn't have it any other way ;-)

One thing that constantly bugs me now................FINANCIAL CRISIS PLEASE BE OVER SOON DUA PEH GONG PLEASE HELP US.

Picture I took @ Woodlands a few weeks back. Not edited at all. Design. Thinking about how I was in design.......what they said was true. Once you get started, you don't stop. I'm never going to. I've learnt to appreciate every single thing that has happened to me, bad or good. That's because it has moulded me into who I am today. Thankful I took a wrong turn and ended up here in RP in the end. People say its a waste of time, I say its additional experience.

Photography has been a big part of my life recently. Want to make it a bigger part of my life. :-) I am so late because I'm supposed to be at Marina Square right now with Deb, Angel and Clayton. HAHAHAHA I AM SUCH A PIG. Was being a real idiot this morning because I sent my babies a stupid text that can never be shown here. Off to shower and head to MS like finally.

Looking forward to the moment Chris comes back!!! 3 days 3 days 3 days :-D Will be seeing Est, Ed and Eileen too. Then Xav next week. Life's good. Need to see Chu, Eva and Cy. And of course the pbts!!! Shall blog about the Bintan trip with them soon :-) Random update is really random. And ok I really need to go. Toodles! X

Haven't been blogging for so long because I'm always tired out after school. Ahhhhhh school is seriously draining out all the energy I have. Not complaining because I like school :-)

Love the nice people around me. Glad I have them around. Thankful for you babies. Hehehe. Anyway today was good :-) Did my rj in 15 minutes with Huishan beside me. Distracting. HAHAHA but it was nice how we just met for the first time today but we clicked almost instantly. My first time talking to her was via facebook. Yesterday. HAHAHAHA

And John came to RP today!!!!! He was scouting for us and yup. Scored 5 looks in a day. YAY RP FTW. Gives me an excuse not to bring a camera tomorrow. :-) Ok mainly because I have to help Marcus out. So........I don't want to bring my camera. Considering that I've been working so hard at spreading the word for Poshism (also much thanks to my awesome babies), I DESERVE THAT REST DAY. That day shall be tomorrow. :-)
